A Message From the Board

As entrepreneurs and innovators, we see the potential of the Northern Mariana Islands from the perspective of outside business owners. This is why we have pledged to do all we can to help CNMI realize the economic strength offered in the Covenant.

We are committed to addressing some of the most pressing needs, including brain drain, economic reliance on tourism, and dependence on federal funding.

While tourism and federal partnerships are pillars of the economy, they lack the consistency and scalability needed to achieve financial independence. The desire for abundance and prosperity is at the heart of the Trade Council’s charter. Our goal is to assist the Economic Incentive District Authority by sustainably and wisely increasing the number of tax-paying businesses in CNMI.
