Our Charter
To promote business, commercial and economic interests in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands; to advise, consult with, and provide services to public and private entities in the interest of economic diversification and foreign investment.
A Solemn Duty
Our charter requires that we provide services to public and private entities. We do this by ensuring the Economic Incentive District Authority has what it needs to operate effectively. The Authority has a solemn responsibility to make sure the Economic Incentive District of the CNMI is well known and is made available to businesses from all over the world, inasmuch as these businesses can find and provide long-term economic benefits in the EID.
As the Economic Incentive District Board accepts and reviews EID License applications, the Trade Council is busy ensuring businesses have what they need to start sourcing revenue here as soon as possible. This includes technology, infrastructure, logistical, legal, accounting and hiring solutions. We are committed to creating a reputation for the CNMI that can bring prosperity to all for many generations.
